A much deserved recognition to Prosser Career Academy for their Healthy Schools Campaign’s “Cooking Up Change” competition winning menu, which was served district-wide to the CPS student population to enjoy last Tuesday. We were fortunate to be one of the sponsors invited to celebrate this event, seeing these creative students recognized for their hard work. Their winning entry of Arroz con Pollo Tazon, Roasted Corn & Carrot Relish, and Pear Crisp, was not only very enjoyable, but also a testament to CPS’ Culinary Program district-wide, having to use only those ingredients regularly used in their kitchens. Congrats to CPS Chief of Nutrition Support Services, Leslie Fowler, Director, Crystal Cooper, CPS Culinary Program Director, Chef David Blackmon, Instructor Chef Kulasik, Aramark, Healthy Schools Campaign, and of course the creative culinary team at Prosser!

Good Luck to Team Prosser at the National Finals in D.C. this coming June!
